Expert Whole-home repiping in Lubbock, TX

Whole-home repiping replaces every water supply line in your house from start to finish. It is the right call when repeated leaks, low water pressure, or discolored water signal that spot repairs are no longer keeping up. In Lubbock, the water is classified as very hard, with high mineral content that accelerates scale buildup inside pipes and speeds up corrosion over time. Older homes across the area are especially vulnerable, as pipes that were installed decades ago were not built to handle that kind of sustained mineral load. At 1213 Plumbing LLC, we bring over 20 years of hands-on plumbing experience in both residential and commercial work to every repiping job. We live and work in this community, and we treat every dollar you spend as money that needs to be earned. If your Lubbock home is showing signs of pipe failure, call us to get a straight assessment and a plan that actually solves the problem.

Whole-home repiping FAQ

Common questions about whole-home repiping in Lubbock, TX.

Whole-home repiping is the better choice when you have leaks in multiple locations, persistent low pressure, or rusty water throughout the house. Spot repairs make sense for isolated problems, but widespread pipe failure in a Lubbock home usually means the entire system is worn out.

Yes, Lubbock's water is very hard and deposits mineral scale inside pipes that restricts flow and speeds up corrosion. Homes in the Lubbock area can see pipe problems develop sooner than in regions with softer water.

Call a plumber if you notice discolored or rust-tinted water, frequent pinhole leaks, or a steady drop in water pressure across multiple fixtures. These are signs the pipes in your home are failing system-wide, not just in one spot.

In most cases, yes. Scale buildup and internal corrosion from Lubbock's hard water narrow the inside of older pipes and choke off flow. New piping restores full, unrestricted water pressure to every faucet and fixture.

Yes, we serve homeowners in Wolfforth, Idalou, Shallowater, Abernathy, Plainview, Brownfield, and Petersburg in addition to Lubbock. Call us to confirm service availability for your address.

Repiping does require access behind walls and under floors, so some disruption is expected. Our team works carefully and communicates every step so you know exactly what is happening in your Lubbock home.

I have the pleasure of having Rudy take care of a bad faucet and a hot water replacement. Rudy was super pleasant, always on time, and made the process so smooth. He is very knowledgeable and I will happily use 1213 Plumbing again if the need arises. I would reccomend them 10 out 10 times.

Rudy is great! We have used his services three times now and I won’t be using anyone else again! He replaced our gas pipes and brought our gas appliances up to code a few months ago. Today, he fished a rubber duck from our toilet. He has always been quick to respond, honest and fairly priced! I definitely recommend him over anyone else!

Rudy helped us with a drain cleaning 2 months ago, so when we had some major issues with our kitchen remodel, we called him. He was able to figure out the problem and worked diligently to find the least invasive solution that would hopefully resolve the issue. When that didn't work he came back the next day to replace a section of the main kitchen drain pipe and get our drain working properly. We will use him again when we start our bathroom remodel. Rudy is a master plumber and a great guy!

Professional, on-time, very knowledgeable, friendly, reasonably priced. Rudy and his son were very easy to talk to and deal with. They solved my plumbing issues and were pleasant to have in the house. They even answered all the questions I had while they were working. I'll recommend 1213 Plumbing to anyone who asks for a plumber recommendation.
