Expert Gas line repair in Lubbock, TX

Gas line repair is one of the most safety-critical services a Lubbock homeowner can call for. A rotten-egg odor near your stove, a hissing sound at the meter, dead patches of grass above a buried line, or appliances that won't stay lit are all signs your gas system needs a professional look. At 1213 Plumbing LLC, we diagnose the source of the problem first. We locate leaks, inspect fittings, check pressure, and repair the damaged section before verifying the system is sealed and flowing correctly. Lubbock's clay-heavy soil expands when it rains and shrinks during dry West Texas summers. That constant ground movement stresses buried gas lines at their joints and connections over time, making periodic inspection a smart call for any property here. We serve residential and commercial customers throughout Lubbock, Wolfforth, Idalou, Shallowater, Abernathy, Plainview, Brownfield, and Petersburg. With over 20 years of plumbing experience, we treat every gas line repair as the serious, precision job it is. Call us to schedule a service visit.

Gas line repair FAQ

Common questions about gas line repair in Lubbock, TX.

Gas line repair is not a safe DIY task. Natural gas is highly combustible, and an improper repair can create a serious fire or health hazard for your Lubbock home or business.

Lubbock's clay-heavy soil expands and contracts with moisture changes, which stresses buried gas line joints and fittings over time. Corrosion on older iron or steel pipe and worn fittings are also common causes of gas line problems across the area.

I have the pleasure of having Rudy take care of a bad faucet and a hot water replacement. Rudy was super pleasant, always on time, and made the process so smooth. He is very knowledgeable and I will happily use 1213 Plumbing again if the need arises. I would reccomend them 10 out 10 times.

Rudy is great! We have used his services three times now and I won’t be using anyone else again! He replaced our gas pipes and brought our gas appliances up to code a few months ago. Today, he fished a rubber duck from our toilet. He has always been quick to respond, honest and fairly priced! I definitely recommend him over anyone else!

Rudy helped us with a drain cleaning 2 months ago, so when we had some major issues with our kitchen remodel, we called him. He was able to figure out the problem and worked diligently to find the least invasive solution that would hopefully resolve the issue. When that didn't work he came back the next day to replace a section of the main kitchen drain pipe and get our drain working properly. We will use him again when we start our bathroom remodel. Rudy is a master plumber and a great guy!

Professional, on-time, very knowledgeable, friendly, reasonably priced. Rudy and his son were very easy to talk to and deal with. They solved my plumbing issues and were pleasant to have in the house. They even answered all the questions I had while they were working. I'll recommend 1213 Plumbing to anyone who asks for a plumber recommendation.
